Statement

After much careful consideration, we have come to the difficult decision to temporarily close South Street Studios as of Tuesday 17th March, for all educational practices, live music events, rehearsals and recordings.

We take the health and safety of our visitors, learners, volunteers and staff extremely seriously, and after assessing the risks of continuing in the current circumstances we feel we cannot continue to work effectively and safely as a site with the numbers of people we have using the facilities, many of whom are vulnerable and/or have underlying health issues.

The premises will be closed for all courses and sessions for the foreseeable future however iRock. Wikid, iSounds and iDeeJay will be continuing online.

Dates for the physical recommencement of these projects will be posted on our websites and social media channels when news is available.

Unfortunately all gigs booked at The Smokehouse venue will no longer take place; please keep an eye on any events you have tickets for for further updates regarding rescheduling dates/refunds. We will be updating our website and social media accounts regularly with any new information.

Punch Studios is now open for a limited number of rehearsals and tuition, and remains closed for recording sessions. The studios will reopen fully when given clear guidance that it is safe to do so.

Our staff are working from home so please be patient in any communications via email. Our office number is now no longer in use until we reopen. .
