Weatherwax formed in 2009. At one point, possibly the UK's only pre-teen grunge revivalists. Now just any old regular teenage alt rock band! Heavily influenced by Nirvana, they play mainly original songs, many of which can be seen on the band's YouTube channel www.youtube.com/nirvanakiduk. 

The band name came from the high school attended by Kurt Cobain where he was briefly a janitor, hence the bit at the end of the video for Teen Spirit.
