Oooh have we got a corker for you here! Coming to The Smokehouse as a part of their UK tour we have SMOKIN’ DONUTS! If you don’t yet know the name then you’ll almost definitely know the names behind the band. Smokin’ Donuts are none other than Les from Carter USM and Doozer from The Rejects (and loads of other things!).

We are really pleased to be able to get this in at the lovely Smokehouse, it’s going to be a great night! Price is a bargain £7 in advance and £8 on the door. Although we very much recommend you buy a ticket!

Here are some more details about who is making noise on the night:

SMOKIN’ DONUTS
At some point in the Summer 2018, Doozer McDooze (underground festival hero) and Les Carter (Carter USM, Abdoujaparov, Ferocious Dogs), joined forces to do what is now called Smokin' Donuts. The concept is simple... they play one of Les's songs then they play one of Doozer’s songs.

DYSTOPIAN SOUND COLLECTIVE
Bringing together old-school 808 hip-hop beats, smashing them against the occasional four-to-the-floor techno slammer, then drizzling them with sweet cinematic strings, Dystopian Sound Collective revel in creating something immediate and slightly malevolent. Dystopian Sound Collective are here to entertain in ways you may not have seen before and might never see again. The live set is a swirling mist of lasers, dense fog and musical war-cries.

THE INTERESTING TIMES GANG
Adventure Pop!
Featuring Hannah Cutler on guitar and vox, Astrid Coxon on keyboards, more vox, and the egg of artistic impotence and James Brittain on bass and FURTHER VOX
Also features Ian-1 and Ian-2, the drum machines.
They sing about space travel, but we also sing about things that aren't space travel (like betrayal, bees, toxic friendships, and travelling in space).
