Shrouded Productions Presents: Femme Dé + Support
Norwich's Femme Dé creates waves of tension-and-release with tight rhythms and abrasive riffs, before plateauing into quieter yet still disconcerting pastures, all balanced with conversational lyrics and raw, exposed vocal performances. Their sound lands somewhere between the indie-meandering of Life Without Buildings, the intensity of early Refused, the idiosyncratic atonality of Fugazi’s noisiest moments and the feel-good swagger of modern pop-infused hardcore acts like Turnstile.
Slughouse are a three-piece math-rock band from Suffolk. Described as 'mouth-wateringly wonky math-grunge marvels' by Seymour Quigley they have been slowly gigging their way around the East Anglia music scene delivering confusing and un-melodic melodies to the masses.
Ward Of Iron is a three-piece band based in Ipswich, bringing together elements of post-punk, shoegaze & darkwave music. Dreamy guitars swirl over a backdrop of ethereal synth, gritty bass and driving drum machine rhythms to create a textured sound that feels fresh yet familiar; modern yet nostalgic.
Hailing from Ipswich, Matt Catling, a.k.a. Under the Sun, entered the music scene in early 2020 with a wide range of influences which fall between My Bloody Valentine, Jesu, Portishead, Boards of Canada, Seefeel, Flying Saucer Attack, and The Telescopes.
