Taking their moniker from the classified U.S. facility Area 51, and hailing just miles from Rendlesham Forest - the scene of the UK’s most infamous UFO incident - Groom Lake are a band that seek out the unknown, the unexplained and the unsettling as their sources of inspiration and have sought to forge a sound that reflects the otherworldliness of their influences. After announcing themselves with debut single No Relief in 2019, the band played a sold-out show in their hometown before experiencing a breakthrough year in 2020.
