  • The Smokehouse 6 South Street Ipswich, England, IP1 3NU United Kingdom (map)

Punk music from Incisions, 2 Sick Monkeys and The Domestics.

“We've put together this awesome line up to help celebrate the equally awesome Katie Baskett's birthday. Katie and Carl are proper supporters of the Ipswich Scene, and the wider DIY scene in general. You will have undoubtedly seen then up and down the country at as many gigs as possible always the first to order tickets, first to turn up on the night and are all round good humans. We were honoured when Carl asked us to sort out this gig and jumped at the chance! Also Katie seems to have impeccable taste, turns out a lot of favourite bands are bands were more than happy to put on”

”Incisions have become a force to be reckoned with. The raw energy and explosive live presence of your favourite 80s hardcore band, mixed with intelligent interesting song writing, big riffs, and a charismatic stage presence which is endearing and welcoming. Jordan's Vocals sound like breaking glass. Unique and powerful, totally un-ignorable which is exactly want you want from a hardcore vocalist!

2 Sick Moneys are a 2 piece punk rock band with BIG SOUND! They’ve been together for over 10 years and will kick off the night.

East Anglian Hardcore bruisers The Domestics will be opening the night. Everyone reading this should know who this lot are. If not where have you been? There is not a lot I can Say about the Domestics we haven't already. Just know they still go harder and faster than most, whilst still managing to be catchy and memorable! Its not often that a Hardcore band operating at this speed and intensity manage to get some many songs stuck in ya noggin after seeing them smashed out live with such precision. Another one of Katie's favourite bands we were more than happy to get involved. Domestics Kicking off proceedings guarantees this evening will be a raucous affair from start to finish.

Please spread the word, Invite all your mates, and buy Katie a drink on the night! Doors at 7.30 at The Smokehouse, £5 entry. “
