James White & The Wild Fire formed in 2020 and are a musical blend of Country, Bluegrass, Rock and Americana. The group consists of James White on vocals and guitar, Brooke Bond on double bass, Ed Goldsmith on banjo and Lee Dorrington on cajon.

Despite being unmanaged and unsigned, the group achieved charting at Number One on both the Folk and Country Albums charts on Amazon with their debut EP, Making Tracks, being released on 5th June 2021 and followed this up hitting the Number One spot yet again on 19 November 2021 with their Live at Saffron Hall album.

Having sold out a seminal hometown show the band are kicking on and taking bookings for shows for 2022 which started with a bang as they became finalists for the Cambridge Band Competition in February 2022.
