The Smokehouse and Night Folk in the Afternoon on IO Radio proudly present singer-songwriter and folk guitarist David Ian Roberts and experimental folk duo Alula Down.

Alula Down is an experiment in folk song and minimalism with voice, and instruments made of wood & reeds. It is the duo project of Mark Waters & Kate Gathercole, longtime players in Heed the Thunder, Sproatly Smith and Vaginapocalyse.
